- The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) toward the cost of the Improvement of Water Resources Management in Khatlon Region Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Irrigation System Lolazor (Dangara).
- The Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan/ Project Implementation Unit “DVIP”, Improvement of Water Resources Management in Khatlon Region now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Construction of Irrigation System Lolazor (Dangara) with the completion period of 30 months.
Qualification requirements:
The Bidder must demonstrate:
It has sufficient funds to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated as USD 430 000.00 (four hundred thirty thousand USD) for the subject contract(s) net of the Bidders other commitments;
Minimum average annual turnover of USD 1 920 000.00, (one million nine hundred
twenty thousand US dollars) calculated as total certified payments received for
contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years;
Experience in supply, installation and construction of:
Irrigation DB-3 canal from CH 395+80 to CH488+58
Distribution water pipes, CH 400+28, 420+46, 437+34, 443+36, 462+40, 463+37
Siphon in CH416+00 to CH419+00 of the VD-3 canal
Double-bay bridge in CH 396+02 and CH 465+51
Tail escape in CH 488+59
Water outlet from DB-3 canal
Pumping station for water supply of pre-watering of the DB-3 track
Electrical centrifugal pumps with capacity of up to 55 kWT
Pre-watering of DB-3 canal from CH395+80 to CH488+59
Water reservoirs up to W=500m3, etc.
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) proceduresas specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019) (“Procurement Guidelines") and Standard Tender Documents (Procurement of Goods) from Financial Institutions (the Islamic Development Bank, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, the OPEC Fund for International Development, the Saudi Fund for Development, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.18 -21 setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest and Article 8 on conflict of interest of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Public Procurement of Goods, Works and Services” (as amended by the Law as of April 16, 2012 No. 815).
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit “DVIP”, Improvement of Water Resources Management in Khatlon Region Project under the Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 09:00 to 17:00 hours (Dushanbe time) from Monday to Friday at the address given below:
